Granny flats could be the answer to some of Perth’s housing affordability issues.  In a recent report by the Housing Authority a lack of housing diversity and limited housing options is contributing to home ownership remaining unattainable to many West Australians.

Affordable Options for Downsizing?

In the same report the Real Estate Institute of WA commented that “with an ageing population and an increase in the number of smaller households, it will be important to have appropriate and affordable options for downsizing and resizing.”
