Our Easy Process
At Perth’s Granny Flat Specialist we believe in being organised and efficient. This starts from the minute we take your call.

STEP 1
SITE ASSESSMENT
We come to your property to see and listen to your needs and what you’re trying to achieve. We discuss the design of your ideal granny flat and from there can work on a budgetary estimate for the project.

STEP 2
PRELIMINARY DESIGN & QUOTE
We will now need your approval to perform thorough site-specific investigations and engage draftsmen, engineers and consultants. This will allow us to provide you with a fixed price quote.

STEP 3
SELECTIONS & COUNCIL APPROVALS
Once your design has been finalised we can submit plans to your local council for planning approval. You will also be able to meet with our interior designer for assistance selecting all your colours and finalising inclusions.

STEP 4
FINAL PLANS & CONTRACT
Now that all the details of your granny flat are finalised we are really ready to get started! You will be presented with a building contract for signing that confirms all the details of the project including plans, comprehensive specification and schedule of fittings & finishes.

STEP 5
CONSTRUCTION
As soon as your building permit is issued trades and materials will be begin appearing on site. A work schedule has been carefully planned and before you know it, you will have a little home in your backyard! We run a smooth operation with as little disruption to your everyday life as possible.

STEP 6
COMPLETION & HANDOVER
Your dream and vision is now a reality! It’s been 10-12 weeks since construction started and now we’re ready to hand over the keys. Your granny flat comes with a six month maintenance period so our customer service does not end just yet.
