Our client has two sons living at home while attending university and she was looking for a way to create a perfect versatile space to escape to.

It also had to be able to accommodate friends and family visiting from interstate and overseas occasionally.

Her backyard has rear laneway access but very little off street parking out the front so it also made sense to have some parking out the back as well.

Our brief was to come up with something which would provide a versatile space with parking, while also complying with all of the City of Nedlands rules regarding setbacks and overlooking of the neighbouring properties.

We came up with this great studio which we’ve called “The Treehouse”. Have a look at the pics from inside and you’ll see what we mean.
